Clare College Research Symposium 2010
It is with great excitement and anticipation that we can unveil the programme for the 2010 Clare Research Symposium which is to be held on March 11th 2010.
The day consists of 24 talks by undergraduates, graduates and Clare Research Associates, a Keynote Speech to be delivered by Dr. Timothy Potts, Director of the Fitzwilliam Museum and Fellow of Clare College, and a poster session.
There will be talks given on such diverse topics as the Nuremberg trials, Origami, Shakespearean Tragedy, Meerkats, Joseph McCarthy, the genetics of breast cancer, Harry Potter costuming and the temple of Ramesses II.
It is entirely free for Clare members, and if the line-up on offer is not enough to whet your appetite, a complimentary lunch is available to those who attend. Registration begins at 09:00, with the first session starting at 09:20 and talks running through the day until 18:30 in the evening.
The Symposium will be taking place in the Gillespie Centre, with the registration, lunch and poster session in the Garden Room, and the talks in the Riley Auditorium.
